Simple, Transparent Pricing
All prices on this page are quoted in USD; your account balance is denominated in credits. The rate is flat: $1 = 100,000 credits. So the $0.15 / 1K tweets rate above is also 15 credits per returned tweet, and the per-call minimum of $0.00015 is 15 credits. Either unit; same number.
Sign-up credits: New accounts get up to $1 of free credits (at most 100,000 credits, no card) after passing the invisible bot check; one per person or network; repeat sign-ups from the same network within 30 days get $0.10; free credits expire after 31 days.
What a real search costs
Billed per result returned. Minimum $0.00015 per request. Below: the sticker price for a tweet search that returns 0, 1, 5, or 20 tweets, and what the same request costs with a Business subscription (every $1 buys 1.90× the credits — bonus + 12-month returns while subscribed).

Batch profiles, Followers, Following, and Follower-IDs use volume-based pricing
The more items you fetch in a single call, the cheaper each one gets. Larger page sizes are dramatically discounted to encourage bulk collection workflows — the batch profile endpoint drops from 18 to 1 credit per user at 100+.

Frequently asked
Can I just top up when I need, instead of subscribing?
Yes — you can pay-as-you-go by topping up your balance any time, with no subscription required. Both models use the exact same API, keys, and endpoints. Subscribers get extra bonus credits and better rates because we can plan capacity around them — so if you use twitterapi.io consistently every month, a subscription usually works out cheaper. If your usage is bursty or occasional, pay-as-you-go is the right choice.Do unused credits on a subscription plan carry over to the next month?
Yes for the base, no for the bonus. Your subscription grants two kinds of credits each month: base credits (the amount you paid for) never expire and carry over, just like credits from a one-time top-up. Bonus credits (the extra percentage granted on top) are a separate 31-day batch each month, so unused bonus doesn't accumulate across months but your base balance always does.
