Twitter Viewer: view X posts without an account

Enter an @handle or paste a profile link to read that account's public posts, replies, photos and videos here, with no X account and no login. Free for up to 20 profiles a day.

Free, no X account needed: up to 20 profiles a day, the first 3 pages of each. Public posts only.

How to view a Twitter account without logging in

  1. Type the handle, with or without the @, or paste the profile link from x.com or twitter.com. A link to one of the account's posts works too.
  2. Press View posts. Tick Include replies first if you want the account's replies as well as its own posts.
  3. Scroll the newest posts, then press Load older posts to go further back. Tap any @mention to open that account here.

Free limits

Each lookup costs us a request to X, so the free tool has daily limits. They reset at 00:00 UTC.

What it can't show

  • Protected accounts. Their posts are only for approved followers. You see the profile card and a note, never the posts, and the same goes for a protected account's post quoted by someone else.
  • Suspended or deleted accounts. X no longer serves them, so neither can we.
  • Follower lists, likes and messages. This tool reads an account's posts only.
  • Search across X. Look up one account at a time.

Why logged-out x.com isn't enough

x.com still opens a public profile for visitors who aren't signed in, but it shows very little of it. In 2026 we requested the profile, replies and media pages of 10 public organization accounts (Reuters, AP, WHO, Microsoft, Tesla, Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, FIFA and Manchester United) with no cookies, and compared them with the same accounts' recent posts read through our API.

Logged-out x.comResult for 10 accounts

What's hidden is a big part of what accounts publish. Of the 780 newest items from those 10 accounts, 54.7% carried a photo, video or GIF and 22.6% were replies; for Spotify, replies were 64% of its recent items. The newest 20 items of the median account covered only 42.8 hours, so a page that shows just a handful of posts is out of date fast. This viewer shows the full timeline, replies and media included.

“Twitterviewer” is also the name of other third-party sites that aren't related to this tool, or to X. Whichever viewer you use, none of them needs your X password: never type it into a viewer site.

The same timeline as JSON, for scripts

A viewer page is for reading. If you need the same posts in a spreadsheet, a dashboard or a daily check, our API returns them as JSON with no X account. This page uses the same field names as /twitter/user/last_tweets, 20 posts per page, at $0.15 per 1,000 posts (the official X API's pay-per-use rate is $5 per 1,000 post reads).

import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.twitterapi.io/twitter/user/last_tweets",
    headers={"X-API-Key": "YOUR_KEY"},
    params={"userName": "nasa", "includeReplies": "false"},
)
data = r.json()
for t in data["tweets"]:
    print(t["createdAt"], t["likeCount"], t["text"][:80])
# next page: params["cursor"] = data["next_cursor"] while data["has_next_page"]

Questions

Do I need an X account to use this Twitter viewer?

No. Type a handle or paste a profile link and the posts load here, with no X account and no sign-in on our site. Signing in with Google only raises the daily limit.

How many profiles can I view for free?

Without signing in: up to 20 profiles a day from one network, and the first 3 pages (about 60 posts) of each. Signed in with Google: up to 100 profiles a day, with every page.

Can it show private (protected) accounts?

No. Protected posts are visible only to the followers the owner approved, and this tool never shows them. You see the profile card and a note that the posts are protected. Any site that claims to show protected posts is not telling the truth.

How fresh are the posts?

If someone looked up the same account in the last 24 hours, the tool shows that copy; otherwise it fetches the account live from X. Each post shows the time it was published, so you can see how recent the newest one is.

Can I see replies, photos and videos?

Yes. Tick Include replies to add the account's replies. Photos show in the post, and videos and GIFs play when you press play. Quoted posts and reposts show the original post inside the card.
